After collecting ceramics as a hobby and feeling unsatisfied with contemporary Bizen ware, he began his own pottery practice in 1972 to create pieces that met his own standards. He frequently creates water jars, flower vases, flattened vases, bowls, sake bottles, and sake cups, all of which are wheel-thrown and finished with a spatula. His work is centered on the antique Bizen style of the Momoyama period, with meticulous attention given to the firing process. He is also actively engaged in diverse forms of creative expression, presenting mixed-media works that combine various materials and techniques, such as ceramics, lacquer, oil painting, and bronze. He holds solo exhibitions energetically both in Japan and abroad, including in Tokyo, Osaka, New York, and Paris.","brand":"安倍安人","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618635665505,"sku":"4569","price":130000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/4569.jpg?v=1790239232","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p4569","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
