{"product_id":"p4596","title":"Bizen Beer Drinker","description":"This is a new Bizen beer tumbler by Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and is breathing new life into the Bizen ware world with his exceptional sense and masterful sculpting ability. The silhouette has been refined and sharpened through wheel-throwing techniques that stretch the clay to its limit, and the thin-walled construction enhances its comfort, resulting in a stylish and easy-to-use beer tumbler. The somewhat coarse, sandy clay is carefully fired in an anagama kiln, creating a deep crimson color reminiscent of a ripe apple's skin, combined with the amber kiln-change effects and toasted white surfaces characteristic of anagama firing, achieving a landscape that is both beautiful and clean. Although it features no added ornamentation, it possesses a highly sophisticated atmosphere that reflects Koichiro Isezaki’s refined sense of style. Simple and versatile, it comes in a paulownia wood box, making it an ideal gift.\n\nSigned paulownia box (shihō-zan)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.5cm × 7.3cm × Height 11.3cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious name in Bizen ware; his grandfather was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Mitsuru Isezaki, and he himself aspired to pottery from an early age. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He learned pottery for about two years under Jeff Shapiro, a ceramic artist based in New York City, which greatly broadened his perspective on art and ceramics. After returning to Japan in 2000, he trained under his father alongside his father's apprentices. In 2002, he submitted a work to the Tanabe Museum of Art’s Tea Ceremony Exhibition for the first time and was selected.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618639237217,"sku":"4596","price":8000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/4596.jpg?v=1790239266","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p4596","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
