{"product_id":"p4685","title":"Shuten \"Will\"","description":"This is the new sake cup \"Will\" by Toru Ichikawa, who made a brilliant debut after studying under Ryuichi Kakurezaki. It is a work that combines all the characteristics of the three series he has worked on so far—\"Kinsai\" (Gold leaf), \"Kagutsuchi,\" and \"Hagakure\"—appearing as a culmination of his work to date. The title is simply \"Will,\" and one feels that this simple title encapsulates both his life's work thus far and his determination for the future. The gold coloration on this piece is remarkably clear, its vibrancy so vivid that it reflects its surroundings as if it were refined from a genuine gold nugget. Conversely, the black-glazed sections have lost their luster like scorched charcoal, and in combination with the gold, they create a majestic scene reminiscent of molten lava cooling and hardening, with beautiful gold emerging from within. The crimson glaze serves as a wonderful accent amidst the gold and black, creating a harmonious blend of these three striking colors.\n\nSigned wooden box to be provided at a later date (please allow some time for shipment)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.6cm × Diameter 6.6cm × Height 7.3cm\n\nToru Ichikawa was born in Tokyo.
