{"product_id":"p4815","title":"Bizen ware teacup","description":"This is a new Bizen tea cup, fresh from the kiln, by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Kouriki, a former apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. Fired at the end of September 2017, this latest work displays the consistent high quality characteristic of Kouriki-sensei, while serving as an excellent example of his creative variety. It is a piece with refined elegance, featuring the soft clay color typical of the Kaneshige school, accented by a faint hi-dasuki (fire-cord) pattern. The sophisticated quality of the clay, inherited from Sozan Kaneshige, may appear understated at first glance, but it is of an exceptionally high standard, clearly demonstrating what sets high-quality clay apart from the rest. The cup is thinly crafted and lightweight, making it a wonderful, comfortable piece you will want to use every day.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.6cm × Diameter 7.6cm × Height 9.4cm\n\nYoshiteru Kouriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
