{"product_id":"p4834","title":"Bizen long plate","description":"This Bizen long plate is a new work by Koji Nakahara, who studied under Fumio Kawabata and strives to create craft that suits contemporary life. It was fired in the Bizen kiln of his mentor, Fumio Kawabata. As a unique Bizen-yaki artist based in the major city of Osaka, Mr. Nakahara creates stylish and functional tableware for chefs at various high-end restaurants and ryotei; this long plate is a perfect example of his sensibility. The clean Hidasuki (fire-cord) and Goma (sesame ash) markings are not overly flashy, providing a refined aesthetic that serves as a superb supporting actor to enhance any dish served upon it. The subtly curved, unique form adds a tasteful accent, reflecting the refined sense Mr. Nakahara has cultivated through commissions from Osaka's culinary scene.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\n24.0cm length × 6.7cm width × 2.8cm height\n\nKoji Nakahara was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1978.
