{"product_id":"p5110","title":"Bizen black square plate","description":"This is a new Bizen black square plate by Takashi Baba, an artist born in Imbe who has loved Bizen ware since childhood and finds joy in creating works and firing kilns. This piece is a Kuro-Bizen (black Bizen) work using the slip-coating technique at which Baba excels; the metallic black coloration evokes a new spirit different from traditional Bizen ware. The golden sesame glaze from the climbing kiln has fired onto the surface, creating a profound, mysterious landscape that calls to mind a sandstorm. Furthermore, the original paisley-like floral pattern is incredibly stylish, resulting in a fresh, sharp style characteristic of an up-and-coming young artist. Although it is a square plate, it features feet, which is a wonderful touch that ensures stability and ease of use.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\n18.0cm x 17.7cm x 3.2cm (height)\n\nTakashi Baba was born in 1983 as the eldest son of Bizen ceramic artist Shosuke Baba.
