{"product_id":"p5111","title":"Bizen black square plate","description":"This is a new Bizen black square plate by Takashi Baba, an artist born in Imbe who has loved Bizen ware since childhood and finds his life's joy in creating works and firing kilns. This piece is a work of black Bizen created with the slip-coating technique that is Mr. Baba's specialty; the metallic black hue evokes a new spirit distinct from traditional Bizen ware. The golden sesame glaze from the climbing kiln has fired into a profound landscape that calls to mind a sandstorm. Furthermore, the floral patterns resembling Mr. Baba's original paisley motif are exceptionally stylish, resulting in a fresh and sharp style befitting a brilliant young artist. Although it is a square plate, it features feet, making it wonderfully stable and easy to use. (*There is a small chip on the corner of the back, but it does not affect use.)\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 18.1cm x 17.5cm x Height 3.2cm\n\nTakashi Baba was born in 1983 as the eldest son of Bizen ware artist Shosuke Baba.
