{"product_id":"p5121","title":"Bizen Beer Mug (Large)","description":"This is a brand-new Bizen beer mug, fresh from the kiln, created by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, an apprentice of the late master Sozan Kaneshige. This latest piece, from an early summer 2018 firing, is an extra-large mug crafted with the goal of bringing out the best qualities of Bizen clay and surpassing the performance of glass mugs. It is a rare, oversized Bizen beer mug that holds approximately 1100ml, equivalent to a standard beer mug. As expected of Koriki, it uses high-quality Bizen clay, and its moist, fine-grained texture makes beer foam finer and significantly enhances the flavor. By chilling the mug before use, the surface retains moisture, further accentuating the beautiful clay texture and \"goma\" (ash glaze). It is an affordable and perfect masterpiece for the hot summer, making it an excellent gift.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 16.6cm x 12.3cm x Height 16.0cm\n\nYoshiteru Koriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
