{"product_id":"p5122","title":"Bizen Beer Mug (Large)","description":"This is a brand new Bizen beer mug, just fresh from the kiln by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Kōriki, an apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. This latest piece, fired in early summer 2018, is an extra-large mug crafted with the goal of bringing out the best qualities of Bizen clay and surpassing the performance of glass mugs. It is an exceptionally large size for Bizen ware, holding approximately 1000ml—the same capacity as a standard beer mug. True to Kōriki's style, it is crafted from high-quality Bizen clay, with a moist, fine-grained texture that creates a finer beer foam, dramatically enhancing the flavor. Cooling the mug before use allows the surface to retain moisture, further accentuating the beauty of the clay and the natural ash glaze (goma). This exquisite piece is perfect for a hot summer, reasonably priced, and makes an ideal gift.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 15.3cm × 10.8cm × Height 11.5cm\n\nYoshiteru Kōriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
