It combines the characteristics of his various previous series, featuring a powerful katamigawari (half-and-half) design: one side finished with a glaze that has taken on a steel-like metallic hue, and the other with a red glaze where fine, Kagutsuchi-style kairagi (crawling glaze) gives the surface the texture of lizard leather.
