{"product_id":"p5305","title":"Bizen ware triple-snake lid rest","description":"This is a new Bizen three-headed snake lid rest by Koji Nakahara, who studied under Fumio Kawabata and aims to create works that suit modern life. The finish is reminiscent of ancient Egyptian ritual vessels, and the realistic snake design, rarely seen in Bizen ware, makes this a one-of-a-kind piece. Beyond its use as a lid rest, it can be put to various creative uses, such as a luxurious pen stand utilizing the ring in the center. The entire piece is covered in a beautiful silver glaze, which, combined with the white-gray clay surface, makes it look as if the entire work has been coated in platinum. The texture is rough overall, and combined with the subtly shimmering, mysterious surface, it perfectly matches the three-headed snake design.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san) included\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.7cm × 6.7cm × Height 6.4cm\n\nKoji Nakahara was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1978.
