p5392
Bizen Beer Drinker
This is a Bizen beer tumbler by Yoshiteru Koriki, a popular young ceramic artist and former live-in apprentice to the late Sozan Kaneshige. Compared to his previous beer tumblers, this piece is crafted with thinner walls, with the clay particularly well-compressed around the rim. It is slightly shorter in height, making it light, thin, and a perfect size that is easy for women to use. The quality of the clay remains exceptionally high; it features an earthy "bitter chocolate" hue with a subtle, rustic "kase-goma" (dry ash) glaze finish.

Paper box
Diameter 7.3cm × Diameter 7.2cm × Height 11.5cm

*A shipping fee of 500 yen applies.

Yoshiteru Koriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
