{"product_id":"p5838","title":"Bizen sake cup","description":"This is a previous work of Bizen sake cup by Kousuke Kaneshige, the leader of the Kaneshige family and son of the great restorer of Bizen ware and Living National Treasure, Toyo Kaneshige. It includes a biography dated around 1994, suggesting it was crafted during that period. The sake cup is simple, with shiso-red as its primary color, allowing you to enjoy the rich, textural quality of the clay characteristic of the Kaneshige family. The mist-like dusting of yellow sesame glaze accentuates the shiso-red, adding further depth to the gradation of the clay. While the base is well-rounded and the rim is constricted, the firing process has introduced subtle distortions, creating a unique, whimsical form that cannot be achieved by hand alone. (There is almost no sign of dirt or use, but please be aware that this is a previous work.)\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san style)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.7cm x 6.7cm x Height 5.3cm\n\nKousuke Kaneshige is the third son of Living National Treasure Toyo Kaneshige.
