{"product_id":"p5870","title":"Bizen tea cup","description":"This is a Bizen ware tea cup by Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and has brought a breath of fresh air to the world of Bizen ware with his exceptional sense and skillful formative ability. It is a masterpiece that embodies a message only achievable with earthenware, characteristic of Koichiro, who creates a diverse range of expressions by making the most of the texture of the clay. It features the vibrant firing of an anagama kiln that is instantly recognizable as Koichiro's work; it was fired in a steaming-like manner after being wrapped in straw, resulting in a piece where the soft texture of the hidasuki (fire-cord) blends with the clean, white clay body. The design below the waist is unconventional, featuring an interesting shape with a stepped waist and a rounded bottom. The vibrant yet refined scenery of the anagama hidasuki perfectly matches the distinctive design, resulting in a finish typical of Koichiro that also fits well in modern spaces. It comes in a paulownia box, making it perfect for gifts or commemorations.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.9cm x Diameter 7.8cm x Height 9.4cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture, as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki.
