Ceramics by Yoshiteru Takariki

blog201401151.JPGWith its characteristic scarlet fire markings and coarse mountain clay texture, it is a piece of tableware instantly recognizable as the work of Mr. Kōriki.
A customer shared their impressions of using Mr. Kōriki's tableware with us.
They mentioned that before using it, they had worried it might be a bit too refined, but
once they plated their food, that impression changed completely; its neat and clean appearance enhances the ingredients,
without the vessel itself being overbearing, truly supporting the dish perfectly.
They felt it had reached a level of calculated perfection.

Looking at the customer's photos, it feels as though the work is only truly completed once the food is served; the food and the vessel enhance each other, creating a wonderful synergistic effect.
It is precisely because of the beauty found in this synergy that the allure of tableware is truly endless.
