Hello everyone. The hot days continue; how are you all doing? On such humid and sweltering days, sprinkling water can cool the ground and make things feel fresher. The other day, when I went to sprinkle water in the backyard, I found a remarkably large frog. At first, I thought it was just a leaf, but then I noticed a vivid green line on its back and realized it was a frog. It was two sizes larger than an ordinary frog, with a pointed mouth and an indescribable charm. Frog motifs are very common in various types of pottery, such as Bizen ware, as well as in paintings. If you had such a comical fellow nearby, you would certainly think, "I should use this guy as a model." It looked hot, so I splashed some water on it, and it stood there looking quite comfortable. I wonder if even frogs are struggling with this heat.
