This collection features a remarkably rich variety of colors and forms.
Hidasuki (fire-cord) patterns displaying a spectrum of reds, oranges, and browns;
Pale blue Kase-goma (crusty ash glaze) that looks as fresh as if it were holding moisture;
Dynamic Vidro (glassy) glazes that dance across the surface of the vessels.
These vibrant colors are complemented by the mellow, moxa-colored clay bodies.
Recently active not only in Japan but also overseas in countries like the United States and the United Kingdom, his increasingly masterful ceramic techniques breathe vibrant life into these works.
