The other day, I received a delightful gift from a customer who is a chef.
It is some sushi rolls they made by hand at home.
They were beautifully colorful, and we enjoyed both the appearance and the taste.

This customer always purchases tableware from our shop to use and enjoy at home.
They are very particular about their cooking and the vessels they use, and I am always impressed by how they choose their pieces and appreciate the work.
They even discover hidden charms in the pieces that we ourselves had not noticed.

We would like to share these wonderful photos we received from the customer. This is a "Rinka-bachi" (fluted bowl) by Junpei Kaneshige, featuring a refined, earthy kiln-fired look.

This stylish spouted bowl, with its simple yet ingenious design, makes any dish look vibrant.

This is a large bowl with a commanding presence by Shusaku Taku, which they purchased during our recent feature.

This piece is called "Bowl" by Sho Fujita. The customer mentioned that the bright firing on the inside warmly illuminates the ingredients.

We understand that for the "Bowl," the artist uses raw clay just as it was dug up, without "kikuneri" (chrysanthemum wedging), finishing the piece to highlight the natural texture of the raw soil.

In today's 8:00 PM website update, we will be featuring the rectangular plate by Sho Fujita, which the customer is also using to serve grilled fish.
They shared their appreciation, noting that they were drawn to the plate's earthy texture and substantial weight, and that it makes the colors of the food stand out beautifully.
They also remarked that in using it, they could feel the passion and ambition of a young artist striving to challenge themselves with something new.
When we ourselves view Mr. Fujita's work and speak with him, we are drawn to his inquisitive nature regarding clay and firing, his creative approach to form, and his serious dedication to the craft of pottery. That is why we are pleased to represent his work, so it was a delight to hear such kind words.
No matter which piece I ask about, he explains it so earnestly and thoroughly, which makes me feel that he truly puts his heart and soul into creating every single one.
We hope you will take this opportunity to view Mr. Fujita’s tableware.
