Hello everyone, how are you doing?
Today, I would like to introduce the latest electric kiln works by Mr. Kōriki.
This is a pitcher featuring "white-out" polka dots, which is the reverse of the *hidasuki* (fire-cord) polka dot pattern I introduced last time.

The surface is covered in *hidasuki* markings, accented with cute, snow-like negative spaces.

The interior features standard *hidasuki* on white clay.
Looking at it again, the coloration of the *hidasuki* is truly magnificent.
These are relatively large pitchers, a size that could easily be used for sauces and the like.
If the dining table is a grand stage, these pieces serve as supporting actors; you can keep using the beautiful tableware you already own, while adding this pitcher to enjoy a slightly different atmosphere than usual.
It is an easy way to enjoy Bizen ware and add a little more life to your table.
