Sohei Takashima
Born in 1991 in Kushiro, Hokkaido. Studied under Jun Isesaki before establishing an independent studio in Ushimado, Setouchi. Recipient of awards including the Japan Ceramic Association Contemporary Ceramics Encouragement Award.

Biography
Sohei Takashima was born in 1991 in Kushiro, Hokkaido.
He graduated from the Department of Design at Doto University in 2014 and subsequently became a student of Jun Isesaki.
He currently operates independently in Ushimado, Setouchi, Okayama Prefecture.
He has received encouragement awards and recognition from the Okayama Prefecture Art Exhibition, the Tabe Museum’s “Formative Art of Chanoyu” exhibition, the Tobiden Exhibition, the Contemporary Chato Exhibition, and the Japan Ceramic Association’s Contemporary Ceramic Encouragement Award.
