Description
This new tea cup is the work of Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who carries on the tradition of creating deeply evocative pieces, following in the footsteps of the master sake vessel makers, Rokuro Nakamura and Shin Nakamura. Many pieces from this recent firing turned out with an exceptional scarlet hue, and this work in particular features a vibrant, all-over scarlet coloring. Its plump, charming form fits perfectly in the hand, making it very comfortable to hold, while its smooth texture provides a delightful tactile experience. Its generous size makes it versatile enough for tea, beer, shochu, or coffee, and as it comes in a wooden presentation box at an affordable price, it also makes an excellent gift.
