Description
A new *hi-dasuki* (fire-cord) sake cup by Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who inherits the legacy of the master sake vessel makers Rokuro and Shin Nakamura to create deeply expressive works. This piece is crafted from the two types of clay prized by the Nakamura family and fired in an electric kiln to achieve a mellow, refined finish. The off-white clay body features rich, scarlet *hi-dasuki* markings that are vividly captured. The rim, in particular, possesses a sensual quality, a testament to the lustrous coloration achieved through masterful temperature control.
Signed wooden box (double-slat) included
