Description
This is a Bizen coffee cup by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leading figure of the Kaneshige family. This is a special piece I commissioned directly from Mr. Kaneshige. He works with the clay with immense care and patience, and the result is a truly luxurious coffee cup that highlights the profound, authentic earthiness characteristic of Kaneshige Bizen. Its large, clean form, which seems to reflect a straightforward spirit, is unpretentious and sure to be enjoyed for a long time to come.
