Description
This Bizen sake cup is the work of Kazuki Nakamura, who follows in the tradition of masters Rokuro and Makoto Nakamura to create works of profound character. It features the characteristic undulating rim typical of the Nakamura family, paired with a gently rounded body. The well-fired *kase-goma* (crusty ash glaze) combines with a subtle hint of scarlet *hi-iro* to create an exceptionally elegant finish. With traces of *hi-iro* appearing discreetly on the interior and face, this is a piece that promises to become even more beautiful with use.
Signed wooden box (double-braced)
