Description
This is a Bizen tea cup by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leading master of the Kaneshige family. Through a labor-intensive clay preparation process that involves treading the high-quality clay for hours and letting it age for years, the resulting texture is incredibly expressive and warm. The extraordinary quality of the clay, which sets it apart from all others, is evident not only in its rich color tones but also in the supple, tactile feel when held in your hand. We highly recommend this fine tea cup from the prestigious Bizen Kaneshige family as a gift for someone special.
