Description

This is a Bizen Hidasuki beer cup by Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who carries on the tradition of creating works with deep character, following in the footsteps of master sake vessel craftsmen Rokuro Nakamura and Shin Nakamura. The cup features a moist, earthy texture throughout that promises to reveal a more lustrous surface when dampened during use. It would be exceptional to chill the vessel thoroughly before pouring in a beer. Why not consider this as a gift for a beer lover? (*Please note that the cup may be slightly unstable due to the shape of the base; this does not affect its use.) Signed wooden box (double-crosspiece)
Diameter 7.7cm x 7.4cm x Height 10.0cm

About gift wrapping Kazuki Nakamura was born in 1980 as the eldest son of Shin Nakamura. After graduating from the Faculty of Letters at Okayama University in 2003, he studied pottery under his grandfather and father. He fired his first kiln and became independent in 2006.
