Description

This is a Bizen plate by Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who creates deeply evocative works, carrying on the legacy of the master ceramicists Rokuro Nakamura and Shin Nakamura. This piece features a soft, scarlet hue across its entire surface, allowing one to fully appreciate the rich, earthy quality characteristic of the Nakamura family. The warmth of the hand-formed "tataki" (beating) technique perfectly complements the rustic gentleness of Bizen ware. Using this as an accent on your dining table will dramatically transform the atmosphere. Paper box
