Description

These small plates are the work of Masao Akitani, who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works full of unique originality while embracing a fresh spirit. They are a delightful size, approximately 15 cm, making them easy to use, store, and fit into compact spaces. One of their charms is the variety of firing techniques used, including kiln changes typical of an anagama wood-fired kiln and the artist's signature black finish. When in use, they play the perfect supporting role typical of Bizen ware, highlighting the dishes, sweets, or fruit they serve. Paper box
