Description
This is a new *shuto* (sake cup) by Go Kaneshiro, marking a new stage in his career following the completion of his anagama kiln in Kugui. The piece features a strong, reddish clay body with *hi-dasuki* (fire-cord) markings, accented by dynamic *tobi-goma* (splashed ash) glaze. The intensity of the crimson hue varies across the surface, and combined with the slightly dry texture of the clay, this piece promises to develop a beautiful patina with use.
