Description

This is a new sake cup by Go Kaneshige, marking a new chapter in his career following the construction of a new anagama kiln in Kugui. The piece features a gentle, hand-molded aesthetic, created by shaping the clay into a slab before rolling it into the form of a sake cup. The warm hi-dasuki (fire-cord) markings perfectly complement the hand-molded form, imbuing the work with the artist's own warmth.
