Description
This is a new Bizen sake cup by Go Kaneshige, marking a new stage in his career following the completion of his new anagama kiln in Kukui. Fired by burying the piece in ash within this newly designed kiln, the work is eye-catching for its vivid red yohen (kiln transformation). The near-oval shape enhances the aroma of the sake, and along with the shifting red hues, it is sure to provide the owner with great enjoyment.
