Description
This is a new Bizen sake cup by Go Kaneshige, created as he enters a new stage in his career following the milestone of building an anagama kiln in Kukui. Fired by burying the piece in ash within this newly designed kiln, the work is striking for its brilliant red kiln-transmutation effects. Its near-oval shape enhances the aroma of the sake, and together with the interplay of red hues, it is sure to provide its owner with much enjoyment.
