Description
This Oribe beer mug is the work of Masao Akitani, an artist who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works overflowing with unique originality within a fresh sensibility. This is his first attempt at Oribe using Shigaraki clay, and the refreshing glaze tone is truly wonderful. The form, which reflects the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of the Isezaki school, incorporates beautiful curves and subtle cuts within a streamlined design, making it simple yet timeless. It comes in a paulownia wood box, making it an ideal gift or commemorative item. (We can provide gift wrapping or a paper bag, so please feel free to request them on the order screen.)
