Description
This is an Oribe beer mug by Masao Akiya, an artist who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works overflowing with unique originality within a fresh spirit. It is his first attempt at Oribe using Shigaraki clay, and the cool, refreshing glaze tone is truly wonderful. The form, which reflects the dedication typical of the Isezaki school, incorporates graceful curves and subtle cuts into a streamlined design that is simple and never grows tiresome. It comes in a paulownia wood box, making it perfect as a gift or commemorative item. (We can provide gift wrapping or a paper bag, so please feel free to request them on the order screen.)

Diameter 8.1cm x 8.0cm x Height 11.1cm
