Description
This is a Bizen flower vase by Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who continues the tradition of crafting profound works established by the master sake ware potters Rokuro Nakamura and Makoto Nakamura. The light gray "kase-goma" (dry sesame ash glaze) and the scarlet clay texture, while appearing striking, harmonize with any space, serving as an exquisite supporting role that enhances the flowers and elevates the room. The scenery, divided into three layers of yellow, orange, and scarlet like a thermography image, is truly spectacular. The solid, cylindrical construction provides a sense of stability and a dignified presence to this flower vase.
Signed wooden box (double-slat lid)
