Description
This small plate series is by Masao Akitani, who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works brimming with unique originality within a fresh spirit. It is a delightful piece that is affordable, easy to use, and conveniently sized at around 15 cm—neither too wide nor too tall for easy storage. Being slightly larger than an open palm, it is well-suited for anything from cakes and sweets to assortments of fruit. Even in its simplicity, the *hidasuki* (fire-cord) markings shine through, allowing you to fully enjoy the authentic feel of Bizen ware.
