Description
This Bizen coffee set is the work of Takashi Baba, who was born in Imbe, has loved Bizen ware since childhood, and finds his life's joy in creating pieces and firing the kiln. The pieces feature fine vertical line patterns and a soft swell, giving them an atmosphere somewhat like a sculpture. The nearly flat saucer with only a slight rim is also unusual, feeling as if you are placing the cup on a tree stump. These inventive pieces by Mr. Baba will surely make your teatime more enjoyable and comfortable.
