Description

This Bizen mug is a latest release from the kiln of Masao Akitani, an artist who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works overflowing with unique originality within a new spirit. While the design is simple and unforced, the smart construction of the handle and the flowing form are very stylish. It is a slightly larger size that seems suitable for any time or place. The kiln transformation from the anagama kiln, which stands out in the simple construction, is also attractive. (It is stamped 2012, the year it was scheduled to be removed from the kiln.) Paper box
