Description

This is the latest Ibe sake cup by Mashiro Aiga, an artist known for creating works that are consistently straightforward and bold. With its austere Karatsu-style form combined with the rich, deep purple-black of the Ibe glaze, it is a robust piece that captures the essence of Aiga’s style. The beautiful luster and sheen of the Ibe glaze are complemented by a unique, rugged "Aiga-sangiri" firing effect that resembles a rocky surface. Its honest, unpretentious construction ensures that you can enjoy sake and pottery in a relaxed, effortless manner, anytime and anywhere.
