Description

This is a new coffee set by Takashi Baba, who was born in Imbe and has loved Bizen ware since childhood, finding his life's joy in creating works and firing kilns. Featuring a cup defined by its curves and a saucer defined by its cuts, this set is a truly avant-garde expression. The cup design highlights the soft roundness of the body, with simple embellishments limited to the handle and a Go-bowl style foot. Conversely, the saucer looks as if a large plate had been sliced with a cutting machine, fully showcasing Mr. Baba's unique sensibility.
