Description
This Bizen yohen sake cup is the work of Yoshiteru Koriki, a popular young artist who was an apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. It is a masterpiece featuring a jet-black ash glaze combined with a vivid orange "nuke" (fire-affected area). Its beautiful scarlet hue will only grow more stunning with use, surely captivating the eyes of all who behold it. The slightly thick, orthodox design is easy to handle, and because it is simple, it allows you to enjoy the raw, straightforward essence of the clay itself.
