Description
This is a black cup by Masao Akiya, who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works full of unique originality with a fresh spirit. Thanks to Akiya-sensei's strong commitment to the color black, this work is a sight to behold, featuring a fusion of deep, lustrous black and rich sesame glaze patterns. The design, which embodies the studious nature of Akiya-sensei, combines aesthetics with ease of use, making the piece a joy to use and equally rewarding to admire after you've finished your drink. Named "Black Cup," this piece is sized somewhere between a teacup and a beer glass, making it suitable for both tea or shochu and beer. It comes with a paulownia wood box, making it an excellent choice for a gift.
