Description
This is a *hikidashi tokkuri* (pulled sake flask) by Takao Kibata, who made his long-awaited debut after nine years of training as a disciple of Jun Isezaki. The piece is covered in a liquefied natural ash glaze that has been transformed into a transparent, glassy texture through the *hikidashi* (pulling) technique. This glassy natural glaze is incredibly pleasant to the touch, providing a smooth feel that perfectly complements the simple form. Fine crackle patterns cover the entire surface, revealing a different character when viewed up close.
