Description
This is a Bizen small plate by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leading figure of the Kaneshige family. He is committed to traditional clay preparation methods, using clay that has been refined by hand and aged in a storehouse for many years. The bright brown tone of the clay is exceptionally elegant, capturing the vibrant vitality of the earth within a seasoned aesthetic. His refined style makes the plate versatile for any culinary use, but it is particularly effective at enhancing the colors of fruits, Japanese sweets, and other vibrant items.
