Description
This is a brand-new mug, fresh from the kiln, by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, a former apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. Its generous size makes it ideal for use as a beer mug. The authentic *hi-dasuki* (fire-cord) technique employed by Koriki-sensei is so moist and vibrant that it appears as if it were fired in a wood-burning kiln, showcasing his exceptional skill. The way the broad, soft *hi-dasuki* patterns combine with the sharp, delicate lines creates a beautiful landscape on the piece.
