Description
This Kohiki tea cup is by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, a former apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. The work catches the eye with its beautiful white, inherited from his mentor, Sozan Kaneshige. The clean, cool-looking white glaze is perfect for the coming season. The orthodox style characteristic of Koriki makes it a versatile choice for anyone, ideal as a gift. Beneath the brilliant, snow-like white glaze, powerful throwing marks are concealed, evoking the image of the earth waiting to sprout while hidden under snow.
