Description
This is a Bizen tea cup by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, a leading figure of the Kaneshige lineage. Each piece possesses a unique rhythm in its form and silhouette, clearly reflecting his commitment to a dialogue with the clay on the potter's wheel. There is no trace of youthful recklessness; instead, the work exudes a reliable, traditional style that is both user-friendly and universally appealing. With its smooth surface and well-developed *goma* (ash glaze), it makes an ideal gift.
