Description
This Bizen yunomi (teacup) is by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leading figure of the Kaneshige family. Each piece possesses its own unique rhythm in its form and silhouette, clearly reflecting his commitment to engaging in a dialogue with the clay on the potter's wheel. Devoid of the recklessness often associated with youth, his traditional style is reliable and refined, making these cups incredibly versatile and easy to use for anyone. With a smooth clay texture and well-developed "goma" (ash glaze), they make a perfect gift.
