Description
This is a newly fired Bizen sake cup by Hisanaga Koide, marking his long-awaited debut following an extensive apprenticeship under the master Juroku Harada. It features a distinctive, glittering, platinum-like sheen over a shiso-red surface. The heavily applied goma (ash glaze) offers a dual texture, transitioning between a rough, matte charred-goma and a glossy, vitreous green-goma. The shiso-red tone in the interior is slightly more vivid, revealing an exquisite earthiness when moistened with sake.
