Bizen Beer Mug

This beer mug is the work of Shusaku Taku, an artist who shapes his pieces using the emotions of daily life as his yeast, crafted with Bizen ware that has matured alongside the continuous activities of people over generations. This piece features a rich "hidasuki" (fire-cord) pattern on a smooth, pleasingly textured surface. With its refined texture and sharp, thin-walled form, it has a lightness that makes it feel comfortable to use even in the heat of summer. It will be exciting to see how the smooth hidasuki surface changes as it is used over time.
